NETGEAR joins GPA’s Global Partner Program

strengthening the global deployment of AV-over-IP technology.

GPA, the world’s largest AV systems integrator, is pleased to announce that NETGEAR has joined the GPA Global Partner Program. GPA and NETGEAR will collaborate to evolve NETGEAR solutions and how they interact with other AV over IP equipment.

For customers, this will shorten the deployment schedule, increase the capability to remotely manage networks of AV and UC equipment, and accelerate fault diagnosis and resolution. These are all key benefits to enterprise customers, reducing the cost and downtime of unified communications and collaboration spaces. With NETGEAR’s global support network, GPA’s global customers can trust in the reliability and support response from this partnership across all six continents.

“NETGEAR has an excellent reputation among GPA teams for reliable, easy to install and manage AVoIP networking solutions,” commented Mike Stead, GPA’s Director of Global Partnerships. “NETGEAR’s relationship with many key GPA Partners and the work they put in to ensuring interoperability translates into reduced setup times at install, fast support ticket resolution, and overall a highly reliable customer experience. GPA customers will benefit from a deepened partnership with NETGEAR over the coming years.”

NETGEAR has been developing commercial network equipment for over 25 years and has become a market leading switch manufacturer for AV-over-IP over the past years. With the AV Line series of network switches, NETGEAR has reduced common installation frictions with pre-set profiles for AV-over-IP protocols, from one-room setups to very large AV networks with thousands of endpoints. Using NETGEAR’s intuitive and powerful programming interfaces, GPA can connect quickly with the available profiles from over 200 industry-leading AV manufacturers.

“We are excited to join forces with GPA,” said Laurent Masia, director of product line management for managed switches at NETGEAR. “We both recognize the evolution taking place in the Pro AV world and the advancements in AV-over-IP installations that are changing what is possible. We look forward to delivering seamless, reliable connectivity and superior product performance together.”

Together, GPA’s and NETGEAR’s teams will closer work to deliver the highest reliability and best AV user experience so that that our customers can focus on more strategic collaboration and communication and spend, and reduce their efforts spent managing AV and IT
technology and fault-finding.
